We offer complete reassurance from start to finish. All projects are unique and we talk through each aspect of your requirements, taking the time to fully understand your needs. There is a high level of design to be considered prior to installing any heat pump and we need to determine the needs of your building, the use and the local geology to supply you with a bespoke system to exceed your expectations.
Plans will be required and an on-site survey may be necessary to provide an assessment of plant room design, associated heating system and overall heating system control.
Heat loss calculations are key to verify initial heat pump sizing and groundworks design (if required).
From the design it can be determined whether the system can be bespoke, pre-plumbed, pre-wired, pre-programmed products or a hybrid and an equipment list for the installation.
Products
We work with a range of manufacturers and will only specify the most suitable product for a particular property. These manufacturers currently include Samsung, Vaillant, Hitachi, Daikin, CTC NIBE, Viessmann and Ecoforest heat pumps.
We offer a range of pre-plumbed, pre-wired systems for ground and air source heat pumps. If these are not appropriate then we will create a completely bespoke design including mechanical, electrical and groundworks schematics. In 2016-2017 these have included open-loop ground source systems, stainless steel stream based collectors, 150kW borehole arrays, closed-loop horizontal collectors and slinky compact collectors.
We also specialise in the integration of air source heat pumps into existing heating systems through our hybrid heat pump kits. These offer the customer the ability to retain their existing boiler and radiators whilst saving money and carbon through adding a heat pump system.
