The Vitocal 242-G is a compact Brine to Water heat pump equipped with the new user-friendly Vitotronic 200 control unit, allowing for easy to control and efficient weather compensated heating and advanced hot water temperature control. It comes with an integrated 220l hot water cylinder, brine pump, three way valve and cylinder charge pump. The cylinder also comes with a built in solar coil and tappings. The built in controller then can control a Viessmann Solar Pump-Station with up to two flat plate or heat pipe collectors, allowing for efficient control of solar thermal energy.

The graphic interface enables quick and easy changes to your heating and hot water temperatures , clearly displaying heating curves as well as providing a detailed fault finding system. It comes in outputs of 6, 8 & 10.0 kW. It has a high COP of 4.3, tested at a Brine Temperature of 0oC, Water temperature of 35oC. It is extremely quiet due to a new three-dimensional vibration isolation with a sound power level of 43 dB(A) at a temperature of Brine 0oC / Water at 35 °C. The unit can be communicate with a Viessmann PV inverter making best use of any excess electricity generated.
